WORDS HAVE MEANING and you can't just call something a "smash burger" because it's a trendy word. (Probably to get me to buy another wildly expensive pint.) The waitress came by and asked me about the food and I told her it wasn't what I expected because well. The bun was a dry brick and the fries on the side were burnt and had a tint of white from the pile of salt they put on. the burger I got was basically a meatball: soggy, covered in plastic cheese and LTO you would expect from an Arby's. a SMASH burger is placed on a cooking surface and SMASHED flat. we ordered drinks which were very expensive especially when they advertise you can but a 4 pack of their "druthers" beer for MUCH cheaper than eating there. My wife and I went yesterday as it was recommended by our hotel.
